２８日（水）の１・２時間目の理科で「物を燃やすはたらきのある気体」についての実験を行いました。窒素・二酸化炭素・酸素の３種類の気体を使って実験を行いました。また，気体検知管や石灰水を使って燃える前と後の気体の変化についても調べました。それぞれ予想を立て話し合いながら実験を進めることができました。
On Wednesday the 28th, during the fifth and sixth grader science class, they conducted a science experiment on gases that have the ability to melt objects. Using nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide, they conducted their experiment. They learned about the effects gas vapors have on objects. Each student came up with their own hypothesis, and conducted their experiments.
昼の時間と５時間目には苗の植え替えがありました。ポット作りと，植え替えチームに時間で分けて行いました。その日は主にほうせんかとマリーゴールドの苗を５００本ほどしました。学校の花壇や地域花植えに向けてしっかりと準備を進めていきたいと思います。
During fifth period, we planted seedlings. We split into two teams, one to fill the cups with soil, the other to move the plants into the cups. We mostly planted Garden Balsam, and Marigold flowers. This work was in preparation for our many upcoming events that will help us boost the number of flowers on our island.
