今日の３時間目に,６年生は理科の学習で「植物のからだのはたらき」についての学習を行いました。実験では水の通り道と水はどこから出ているのかについて調べました。赤い色水にホウセンカつけると一部が赤く染まりました。また袋には水蒸気が付いていることに気付くことができました。ここで１つの疑問が出ました。「花までは水が通っているのかな？」ということで「白い花の付いたホウセンカを青い色水につけたら水色になるのか？」という実験を昼休みに行っていました。どんな結果になるのか楽しみですね。
Today during their third period, our sixth graders learned about how plant bodies work. They conducted experiments to see how they take in water. For one of them, they put a flower into red water, and a part of the flower became red. They also placed bags over the flowers, and found vapor droplets on them. This led them to some questions: does the water go all the way through and out the flower? What will happen if we used blue water? They set up the experiment in the afternoon, and are excited to find out.
