昨夜から今朝にかけて記録的な大雨が降った影響で土砂崩れや土石流の被害が集落の一部で起こりました。また一部の学校関係者を含め,島民の方はコミュニティーセンターに非難をしました。今後二次災害が起こらないことを祈るばかりです。
中学生は,今日から学期末テストが始まりました。今日から３日間で計９科目行う予定です。悔いの残らないようにしっかりと対策をしていきましょう。また延期になっていた集合学習が昨日から始まりました。帰ってき次第そちらの情報もアップしていきたいと思います。
Our island received a large amount of rain last night, and into the morning, causing a massive landslide, affecting a portion of our villagers. Some had to evacuate their homes in the middle of the night, and take shelter in the community center. We pray that another incident like this does not occur.
Starting today, the middle school students are taking their final exams for the semester. They are being tested on nine different subjects, spanning over three days. We hope they are studying hard to get the best scores they can. Also, our fifth and sixth graders started their school trip yesterday. We plan to post about their adventures after they come back to school.
