今日は令和３年度２学期の始業式がありました。始業式では，５年生のHさんと中学３年Hくんが２学期の抱負を発表してくれました。運動会や文化祭についての抱負を発表してくれました。また，中学３年生にとっては全ての行事が口之島の生徒として参加できる最後の行事となります。最高の思い出が作れるようにこれからみんなでしっかりと準備を進めていきましょう。
その後全員で脱穀作業を行いました。脱穀作業をするのが初めての児童生徒が多くみんなで教え合いながら作業に取り組みました。今後も継続的に行い，１２月に予定している「もちつき大会」に向けて準備をしていきたいです。
Today we held our opening ceremony for the second semester of this school year. At the ceremony, one of our fifth graders, and one of our ninth graders gave speeches about their goals for the upcoming Sports Day and Culture Festival. We are all working hard on the preparations so that we can all make amazing memories at both events.
Later on, we started threshing the rice we harvested last semester, and dried over the summer vacation. This was the first-time for some of the students to thresh rice, so everyone pitched in threshing the rice, while teaching them. We will continue to work hard to thresh all the rice for our mochi making event scheduled for December.
