１１日（土）にもちつき大会がありました。今年度も学校で育てたもち米とOBの方から頂いたもち米を使い行いました。地域の方々にも協力していただきもちのつきかたから丸め方までたくさんのことを教えて頂きました。本校ではじめてもちつきをする児童生徒も多く貴重な経験になったのではないでしょうか。
On Saturday, December 11th, we held our mochi making event. For this year's batch, we used the rice we planted, harvested, and threshed, along with rice which was donated by an alumnus of the school. We also received help from some of the islanders, who came to the event, and helped make the mochi. It was the first time for some of the students to pound mochi, so we think it was a precious experience for them.
