今日は，十島村の４つの学校の中学１・２年生が，TV会議を使用して，英単語力を競う大会「Spelling Bee」を行いました。
口之島からは「Kにゃんにゃんズ」というチームで中学２年生のYさんが参加しました。この日のために，一生懸命英単語を覚えてきたYさん。なんと，全問正解で１位に輝きました！おめでとうございます！
楽しいSpelling Beeを開催してくれた小宝島中学校のみなさん，いっしょに参加した諏訪瀬島中学校，宝島中学校のみなさん，ありがとうございました。
普段は一人で勉強を頑張っているYさん。他島の中学生と交流を深めながら，楽しく学習するとてもよい機会になりました。
A Toshima Island Spelling Bee was held using the TV conference system today during fourth period for the first and second grade middle schoolers. We only have one middle school student, so they had to enter alone, but that did not stop them from doing their best in the spelling bee. Entering as team K Nyanyas, they scored a perfect in the bee, taking first place. Congratulations on your win! We would also like to thank Kodakarajima for hosting another fun spelling bee. It was a great opportunity to encourage the students to study English, and interact with the students on the other islands.
