昨日の５・６時間目に竹の子採りは行われました。島民のCさんに協力していただき山に行きました。道は危険な箇所が多いため，気をつけながら行きました。目的地に着いてから，児童生徒はグループに分かれて，竹やぶをかきわけて，竹の子を探し始めました。みんな楽しそうに探していました。探す時間が終わったら，戻って採った竹の子をむきました。採れたたけのこを食べるのが楽しみです。
Yesterday we went to pick bamboo sprouts during fifth and sixth period. We harvested sprouts with the help of islander C. The path to the picking spot has many dangerous spots, so we made sure to be extra careful. After getting there, the students separated into groups, and began making their way through the bamboo looking for the sprouts. Everyone really enjoyed looking for them. After the set time was up, we made our way back, and peeled the sprouts we found. We are all excited to eat them.
