今、中学１年生は「正の数・負の数」、中学３年生は「平方根」を数学で勉強しています。どちらも新しい数の世界を勉強しているのです。今までと少し違うため、足し算から確認していっています。授業中に２０問以上解くので、めきめき計算力を付けています。数の世界が広がるように、子どもたちの世界も広がってきますように。
Today the seventh graders learned about positive and negative numbers, and the ninth graders learned about square roots in math class. For both grades, the students were entering new world in math. Since these topics are a little different, we began with how to add them together. Despite being new however, they were able to make great progress, solving over twenty problems each. We hope to work hard to continue to broaden our students' horizons.
